Welcome to the Nations Team!
- Leaders: Scott and Heidi Loring
- Purpose: To educate to body of Memorial about global mission needs. To equip mission coordinators and trip leaders with guidelines, project funds and communications needed to serve in another country on mission. To empower the people of Memorial to “go ye into all the world” to meet physical and spiritual needs.
Please contact the Lorings if you would like to join the team. Responsibilities include monthly meetings, and help in planning the Missions Commitments and Missions Celebration Sundays. Many missions opportunities locally and globally are available to be involved with. We’re also looking for prayer warriors! We need people to team up with us and pray for our missions partnerships.
The nations team partners with the neighbor team and both are funded by the annual missions offering in November. They meet together usually monthly and work to support coordinators of each of the local and global mission partnerships.
We currently have partnerships with ministries and missionaries in Haiti and Sierra Leone West Africa. We’d love for you to join us this year! If you’d like to join the Nations team , contact the Heidi Loring or Scott Loring

- Three Story Coffee
- Coffee brings people together, fosters fellowship and community. However, coffee is more than a commodity product, a ministry tool or a budget line-item. Local roaster, Three Story Coffee, believes coffee should be an investment in farmers, families and communities. They build relationships and buy directly from small farmers. The profits from coffee go to support the work of missionaries and church planters. All coffee served at Memorial Baptist Church is purchased thru Three Story Coffee to support their mission. You can purchase coffee at: www.threestorycoffee.com
God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Will you be one of them?

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me …I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
