Benevolence Committee

One of the most important things to us here at Memorial is loving and supporting each other, especially through the hard times.  We are a family that takes care of each other with care and genuine concern.  The Benevolence Committee was created so that we could be of service and support to one another during the death of a family member or close friend.  Our desire is to minister to that person and their  friends and family by preparing and serving a meal to them after the funeral service.  Our church supplies the meat, bread, butter, and drinks for the meal, and our volunteers supply vegetables, salads, and desserts.   The meal is served in the Fellowship Hall, or can be brought to the home.  We have ample parking and a large space for fellowship with friends and family that we are happy to offer.

If you are a new member and have a need for this service, please contact the church office at 635-7131 and they will notify the committee.  If you would like to be a part of this ministry by furnishing one of the dishes as needed, please contact Cheryl Duren at 395-4498.
